Rob Hurth — Branch Manager, Fort Myers

In mid 2007, Rob was brought into the ALERT team and promoted to Branch Manager for Sarasota after showcasing his exceptional business management and customer service skills.  In 2009, as ALERT opened a new branch in Fort Myers, Rob was chosen to lead and develop this branch from the ground up.  As Branch Manager for Fort Myers, Mr. Hurth reports to Jason Hamilton, CPP and has responsibility for the overall operation of both static security and patrol services throughout Lee, Collier and parts of Charlotte County that include Punta Gorda & south.  This includes direct supervision & mentorship of his branch field management team:  Operations Manager, Account Managers and Patrol Manager.  Rob is also responsible for client interaction, relationship building and issue follow up and resolution.

 
Rob is an active and participating member of the International Private Investigators Union (IPIU) since 2003.  He has represented the IPIU in several assignments of Federal Anti-Piracy investigations in numerous cities throughout Florida, Georgia and Wisconsin.

Mr. Hurth’s experience also includes previous ownership and founding of companies as General Contractor in the Custom Home Building and Land Development industries.  In addition, Rob founded American Directives, a corporate integrity and investigations company, involving covert physical investigations and covert audio/video surveillance investigations. He also has a background in Retail Loss prevention with the Burdines Corporation.

Rob attended Luther Rice Seminary at campuses in Florida and Georgia, as well as Florida Bible Colleges in Hollywood, Florida.  He successfully completed his Investigation Studies from the School of Private Investigations located in Norcross, GA.  In his role as Branch Manager with ALERT, he is also an active member of the CAI – South Gulf Coast Chapter.

His experience in security operations, investigations, loss prevention and financial & business management gave Rob the opportunity to develop a strong customer service foundation, people skills and a strong business mindset.  These important skills are intimately tied to supporting and developing each client and employee as ALERT grows throughout Fort Myers, Naples & beyond.
